Gift Bank rules

A Gift Bank is a gift a coin's creator sets aside for viewers. Memelut holds the bank's tokens until it delivers them.

For creators

• You fund the bank with SOL from your wallet, signing on your phone. You choose how many people to reward (up to 10,000), how much to put in (up to 1 SOL each time) and how long the bank stays open (from 1 to 90 days; 30 by default).
• You pay: the total gift, the cost of delivering the gifts and, if the coin has not launched yet, the launch cost. You see the total before signing.
• If the coin has not launched yet, a Gift Bank can be opened only while its fundraise has no contributions: the coin launches together with the bank.
• With the total gift Memelut buys the coin (with the normal pool fee) and keeps the tokens in a wallet used only for Gift Banks.
• Each gift must be worth at least the minimum shown in the app when you create the bank.
• At launch, and at least for the first 3 months, you can have at most $50 of open Gift Banks.
• You can extend an open bank by adding funds or places. A closed bank cannot be reopened.
• You cannot receive gifts from your own bank.
• When the bank ends (all gifts delivered, or the end date is reached), the tokens not assigned to viewers and the unused delivery budget go back to you. The same happens if the coin is removed while the bank is open.
• Gift Banks may not be available for every coin, for example for coins that have already graduated.

For viewers

• The first viewers who qualify each receive an equal share of the bank's tokens.
• To qualify you must:
  • watch the video (today at least half of it; the threshold may change);
  • have a verified email;
  • have an account that is at least 24 hours old;
  • have made at least one real heart (a buy or a fundraise contribution) in the last 30 days.
• One gift per bank per person, device and network. At most 20 gifts a day per person.
• Gifts may not be available in some countries.
• The gift arrives automatically in your wallet, usually within a few minutes. It can take longer.
• The delivery cost is taken from the bank: you pay nothing.

Common rules

• A gift is a promotion, not a promised amount: it is worth what the coin is worth and can be worth zero.
• We can pause or end Gift Banks at any time, and change the conditions to qualify.
• We can refuse gifts, or stop their delivery, when they are sought with multiple accounts, emulators, VPNs or other tricks.
• While the tokens are in the bank they depend on Memelut and are not covered by any guarantee scheme.
